Barney J. Oakes
Barney Oakes has 16 years of telecommunications experience. His management experience includes strategic, business and financial planning; operations management; technology planning and implementation and project management.
Barney’s career has included the US Army, Procter and Gamble, Carolina Power and Light Co., Interpath Communications, and Progress Energy. Since establishing his private consulting practice in 2005 Barney has consulted with clients on a broad range of technical and project-oriented enterprise initiatives.
Barney earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, holds an MBA from Columbus State University, and has completed additional studies through the Duke University Educational Leadership Development Program.
